Amazon is once again running their Wishlist sweepstakes: step by step rules on how to enter can be found on their site, as can their official rules.

Entry is done the same way as last year–you add an item to your Amazon wishlist that is available through an exterior web site. In Amazon’s instructions on how to enter, they offer a free Firefox add-on, or a Google Chrome or Safari extension that you can add to your browser toolbar. These tools will allow you to quickly and easily add any product to your Amazon wishlist from any web page on the Internet.

You can enter Amazon’s wishlist contest once a week by adding another item to your list. I’ve entered twice (during two consecutive weeks) and it’s pretty cool. Once you install the free add-on or extension, you just go to the product page of the item you want to add (on whatever non-Amazon website you choose), then click on the Add To Wishlist tab, your item will now appear on your Amazon wishlist. You’ll then be directed back to Amazon’s website to complete your sweepstakes entry, which simply involves clicking on one more button.

I don’t spend a lot of contests, myself–but this one is so easy, I always enter. Plus, getting the $100,000 Mastercard shopping spree would be preee-ty sweet.
